Worldwatch Institute (Link)

Erik Assadourian of the Worldwatch Institute attended the DCSBN Spring Symposium in 2005 as part of his research on corporate responsibility. Erik has been a researcher at Worldwatch Institute since 2001. He has studied issues of global security, religion and sustainable development, the global consumer society, community sustainability, and most recently corporate responsibility. He is the author of the State of the World 2006 chapter "Transforming Corporations," co-author of "Laying the Foundations of Peace" for State of the World 2005, and co-author of "The State of Consumption Today," and "Rethinking the Good Life," for State of the World 2004. Erik co-directed State of the World 2005: Redefining Global Security and is currently directing Vital Signs 2006-2007. His academic background is in Psychology and Religious Anthropology. Before joining Worldwatch, Erik was a environmental organizer with the U.S. Public Interest Research Group, advocating for increased chemical reporting and security.
